Fellowship Brunch August 30th
Congregational Life Committee is inviting everyone to a Fellowship Lunch after church. We will also be explaining more about our upcoming study entitled, “The Story”. From September 20 to June 12 our church will be linked together, throughout all ages, in a study of the story of God in the Bible.
Date: Sunday August 30th
Cost: FREE (food and drinks will be provided by Congregational Life Committee)
Starting September 20th
"The Story" is an abridged, chronological Bible that reads like a novel. There are no verse references, and Scripture segments are seamlessly woven together with transition text into a single grand narrative. For those intimidated or overwhelmed by the unabridged Bible, "The Story" helps people understand God’s Word more fully and engage with it more easily.
God wants to be with us! This is the refrain that rings true through "The Story." As we reach each chapter this will become clearer and more personal. On this journey, we will grow together and discover that the world is a smaller place than we knew.
"The Story" will be part of our Adult Education Classes, Youth Group, Kidz Quest and Sunday Worship! Plan to join us!
SAVE THE DATE!
September 20th is National Back to Church Sunday and we invite you to join us and bring a friend or two! Our worship service will begin at 9:30am and typically last about an hour. Join us on the patio afterwards for refreshments and fellowship. Our Sunday Adult Education Class begins at 10:45am and this Sunday we will be talking about "The Story". So why not visit FPC and check out what we are all about this or any Sunday!
Paint & Pasta Night!
