New Session Task Force
The 21st century represents a profoundly different environment for FPC, with new challenges and opportunities. With our mission statement as the focus, connecting people to Jesus and to each other, Session set out to brainstorm goals for our church based on our needs and that of the community. Session members, staff and Pastor Steve spent time reviewing suggestion and ideas to narrow down our goals for the next year. Session categorized and assigned the following goals to be looked at going forward.
1.By December 2016, we will develop a plan to reach out and connect to our community.
2.We will re-assess and update the building plan for the entire campus by June 2017.
3.We will re-energize the church by creating new experience and activities for congregants by June 2017.
With our goals in mind, a Task Force of Elders will spend the next several months in discussions about the hopes, dreams, ideas, and concerns of FPC and about our collective mission to serve Christ through these goals. It will be up to the Task Force AND the congregation to implement and move these projects forward in hopes of connecting all people to Jesus and each other! Stay tuned for more information!
