The Administration Committee needs your help to finish the patio garden. First, we need donations to help buy the plants.A sign-up sheet will be on the patio during coffee fellowship.Also,we need people willing to dig holes, plant and spread mulch on Saturday, November 18th, from 8:00 am-noon.

Christmas Food Baskets
In addition to the regular staples we provide for needy families’ daily use, we are asking you to start saving staple foods for the Bethlehem Pantry Christmas Food Baskets.The non-perishable food will be taken to Bethlehem Food Pantry, then combined in food baskets and distributed at Christmas to provide a wonderful Christmas dinner and more for needy families in the area.
October 1 - cake mixes, brownie mix, pumpkin mix, cranberry sauce
October 8 - Instant dry milk, Wesson oil, canned fruits, apple or cherry pie mix
October 15 - tuna or canned meat, spaghetti, spaghetti sauce
October 29 - sugar, powdered sugar, olives, pickles
500th Reformation Celebration
A performance is being held at the First Presbyterian Church of El Cajon on Saturday, October 28th at 7:00pm as the Protestant Church marks the 500th Anniversary of the Reformation.
Come celebrate with an evening of readings by some of the great men of the Reformation movement. Hear the words of Wycliff and Huss, Luther, Calvin and Knox, Cotton Mather, and John Wesley. Sing songs famous in the Reformation.
Provides a mid-week program that parallels as much as possible the school year. Children who will be 4 by September 1st of 2017 through 5th grade are welcome. There are no other requirements and is at no charge.
Time: 4pm to 6:30pm, first day is August 30, 2017
Cost: No charge
Location: Parents drop-off and pick-up children in Westminster Hall, which is located at 500 Farragut Circle right next to the Sanctuary. Arrangements can be made for childcare for those who have siblings in our youth group.
Food: Our kitchen helpers prepare 'kid-friendly' meals. We have cupcakes once a month to celebrate birthdays, but, otherwise, no desserts.

Our annual Stewardship Brunch will be November 12th after Worship. Join us for updates on our various ministries and how your giving helps keeps these outreach activities alive. We will also announce our 2018 Stewardship Campaign. Don't miss this exciting opportunity to learn how our church is growing thanks to your faithful contributions. Don't forget Pledge Sunday will be November 19th!
