This scholarship is available to high school seniors and college students who are involved in our church. To apply, a letter is to be written by the applicant to the Penny Turk Scholarship Committee, describing:

• his/her achievements thus far in school and in this church

• his/her hopes for the future

• the institution (2-year, 4-year or graduate school) to which he/she has been accepted or is attending along with a copy of last semester’s report showing cumulative grade point average

  Deadline: Letters are due by May 31 in the church office or given to Wanda Feldner

*Penny Turk was an outstanding teacher in the Grossmont High School District and an active member of our church and choir. Her husband, Bob, established this scholarship in her name in 2004.
