Sunday Mornings

We welcome all families and feel honored to care for your kids. On Sunday morning the Infant /Toddler room opens at 9:15. The room is on the north side of the narthex near the women’s restroom. Children can be picked up there when the worship service is over.

We have Sunday School for ages 4 through 5th grade. Children should be signed in for Sunday School at the Welcome Table. After the “Time for The Young at Heart”, they will meet their teacher at the side door at the front of the sanctuary. Parents should pick their child(ren) up in Thomson Hall, which is in the building west of the sanctuary.

We have incredible retired teachers and active educators at our church who help contribute to the safety, care, and creativity of our children’s program. We seek to help our youngest participants learn how God loves them unconditionally through Old and New Testament bible stories, games, arts, crafts and special activities. We understand the importance of play, curiosity, and laughter as part of a child’s spiritual formation.

Occasionally the children take part in our worship service. Invite your kids, grandkids, neighbor kids to share the joys of learning and growing together at First Pres!
