Chancel Choir
The Chancel Choir is currently accepting singers. All voices are desired, especially Tenors and Basses. Rehearsals are Thursday evenings, 7 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. Sunday mornings the choir rehearses at 8:55 a.m. for the 9:30 a.m. service. If you are interested in singing, please let Choir Director Kathleen Bright know, or simply show up at a Thursday rehearsal. We welcome all singers! Family Pickup Choir
All are invited the first Sunday of each month to sing with the Pickup Choir. Adults, families, and children are welcome. The rehearsal is before the Sunday service at 9:00 a.m. Simply show up and sing! No robe or Thursday evening rehearsal required. The pickup choir will sing the opening song with the Worship Team and a hymn with the choir.
Worship Team
The Worship Team consists of a variety of instruments and vocalists. Their music consists of time-honored spirituals, reimagined hymns, and modern worship songs, and is led by Megan Benjamin. She leads a team of gifted volunteers. Contact worshipteam@firstpres-elcajon.org
Bell Choir
Celebration Bells practice on Wednesdays from 7:00 - 8:15 pm. This choir is for experienced ringers. For information contact the office at office@firstpres-elcajon.org.
