Penny Turk was an outstanding teacher in the Grossmont High School District and an active member of our church and choir. Her husband, Bob, established this scholarship($500) in her name in 2004.

To apply: A letter is to be written by the applicant to the Penny Turk Scholarship Committee, describing his or her achievements thus far in school and in this church. The letter should also include hopes for the future. The applicant should state 2-year or four year college to which he/she has been accepted or is attending. A copy of last semester’s report showing cumulative grade point average should be included.

Application should be submitted to the church office or to Wanda Feldner by May 31.
